Smiley's Catering Services
Smiley's reputation
grew when he started purchasing houses for awesome parties and
furnishing his all-night events with extensive all-you-can-eat
buffets and all-you-can-drink bars, back when house parties were
the norm. Being the entrepreneur that he is, Smiley capitalized on
the moneymaking opportunity of these little soirees. Eventually,
the owner of Oscars 2000 approached Smiley to promote parties in
his club. Smiley became deeply committed to having these parties
strengthen his business, then known as Happy Face Handy Man
Services.
Moving On Up
From there, Smiley
moved on to start Unique Gentleman, Inc., hosting upscale parties
in various places. When his partners' lack of energy became too
apparent, Smiley eventually had to break out in his own direction
with the food-and-music parties he hosted under the moniker of
Smiley Productions, the success of which brought us to
the Happy Face Catering business we know and
love today.
Chef Smiley is a proud
member of the Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce
Chef is very proud of
his awards over the year, however, he is most proud of winning
Sunoco Welcome to America 2004 & 2005.
What's Next for Chef
Smiley?
This is just the
beginning. Smiley's goal is to own and operate his own catering
hall and restaurant with a storefront for retail sales. Thriving on
the motto, "You only get what you pursue in life," Smiley pursues this next venture
with his whole heart, throwing out a big "Thank
you" to every one for their support over the
years.
He
thanks the Lord for blessing him with the skill to
survive in today's world, and gives special thanks to his wife Lisa
for supporting him always and giving him the strength on a daily
basis to move forward in life.
Smiley is deeply
committed to strengthening Happy Face Catering to become an
industry name with an outrageously delicious menu that has enormous
rave reviews.
Chef strives to have
his own barbeque sauce line in the near future as well.
Personal Acievements
Over the Years
2003- Chef Smiley had
gotten his first big celebrity account, not for one person, but a
whole team. Chef was the Morning Chef for the Philadelphia Phillies
for five games then was asked to finish out the season because he
was doing such a great job and had an enormous amount of popularity
among the players requesting his stay. A special thanks goes out to
my present friend, Jimmy Rollins, who along with two other players
co-signed to get Chef the account.
After working with a number of
celebrities over the years, Chef gained confidence in not only
dealing with the clients but working to achieve their goals for
their events. Also, he acquired occasional personal
chef jobs for various celebrities such as:
